If you asked me to design one of my favorite kinds of mornings, it would look something like this. My dedicated agents, a room full of beautiful fashion, and the chance to pour love into the local businesses that make Houston the city I am so proud to call home.
We had the pleasure of having a private sip and see at Tootsies, one of Houston's most iconic luxury boutiques, and it was exactly the kind of morning I love to curate for the people I admire. The kind of morning where the conversation flows as freely as the champagne, the fashion is breathtaking, and the energy in the room reminds you exactly why community is everything.
The event was a collaboration between two incredible local businesses who share the belief that luxury is best experienced in community. And when the setting is Tootsies and the designers on the floor are Simkhai and Nickho Rey, you already know the morning is going to be something special.
An Exclusive Look at Two of Fashion's Most Coveted Names
Simkhai needs little introduction. Known for its flattering silhouettes and impeccable construction, the brand has become a staple for women who dress with intention. Seeing the collection up close was something else entirely. Every single piece left me more speechless than the last, and by the end I had a wishlist so long I lost count.
Nickho Rey brought an equally compelling energy to the morning. The brand's signature blend of effortless elegance and wearable artistry had everyone reaching for pieces. Having a private showing with a designer whose work has been chosen by the likes of Justin Bieber was incredibly special.
On top of that, what made it even more unique was that Nickho Rey was not just represented by his work, he was there in person, walking us through his designs himself. We were honored to be in his presence and privately showed his collection.
There is something about discovering a designer in an intimate setting that makes the connection to the clothing feel so much more personal. It was a completely different experience than a typical shopping trip, and our agents felt every bit of that difference.
The Tootsies Experience
If you have never experienced Tootsies the way we did that morning, a showing to yourselves and a glass in hand, I highly recommend finding a reason to make it happen. Tootsies has always been more than a shop. It is a Houston staple, a place where style is taken seriously and the experience of shopping is treated as something worth savoring.
Getting to host our agents there, in that environment, felt like a true reflection of the standard we hold ourselves to at Nan & Company Properties. We are so incredibly grateful for the experience and time Tootsies took to host us and make it an experience worth remembering.

I believe deeply that the best businesses are built on relationships, and relationships are built in moments like these. Not in conference rooms or on Zoom calls, but surrounded by beautiful things with people who inspire you. Our agents work incredibly hard every single day for their clients, and creating spaces where they can connect, celebrate, and be celebrated is something I will never stop doing.
