River Oaks home designed by renowned Houston architect is the priciest sale of the week. The 7,473-square-foot home was designed by the late Houston architect Charles Tapley and was listed at $8.85 million. The home underwent extensive renovations that added contemporary upgrades, like a fitness room, a new pool pavilion and an electric vehicle charging outlet in the garage. It went up for sale in March with an asking price of $8.9 million and sold on May 15 for between $7.8 million and $9 million. HAR ranks homes by sales price but does not disclose actual figures. According to Zillow, the sale was pending by April 4, less than a month after hitting the market on March 19. Built in 1974, 4004 Inverness Drive has four to five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half-baths.

$23M in home sales hit Houston’s prestigious Inverness Drive Nan & Co.’s Nancy Almodovar was the listing agent on both One street in Houston’s River Oaks attracted $23 million in home sales last month. Nan & Co.’s Nancy Almodovar handled the listings for 3996 and 4004 Inverness Drive, according to the Houston Association of Realtors.
